Ramadan Iftar boxes for the neighborhood. I was literally racing against time today because I started super late. We had all hands on deck kinda situation and normally I have a super organized mess situation in the kitchen when I host, today felt super overwhelming! I didn’t sleep good last night and woke up late then I started late, so yea 😅 I purchased the boxes from Amazon. The brown boxes contained chicken sandwiches, a mix of different homemade fried snacks (aloo samosa, chicken samosa, beef samosa and egg rolls) and khajoor (dates). I ordered bottles off of Amazon and filled them up with fresh homemade strawberry lemonad and lastly we had chicken biryani which I made in a deigh. Alhumdulillah the adrenaline rush was something else though 😅

We celebrated multicultural day Amina’s school. It was a super fun and successful event, everyone had a great time! Alhumdulillah Pakistan booth was a total vibe, a few other moms also contributed at the booth. We showcased Pakistani handicrafts, truckart, street food and beverages. While patriotic Pakistani songs were playing in the background we spoke about Pakistani culture and shared our rich and diverse history with the attendees in our beautiful Pakistani outfits. A detailed trifold poster about Pakistans history was contributed very generously by a fellow mom’s 7th grader. A special shoutout to Amina’s sisters, cousins and aunts for always coming to support us ❤️ We also made sure that Palestine was a part of our display and we rocked our Kufeya’s proudly! #multiculture #culture #celebration #pakistan #handicraft #truckart #pakistanzindabad #dildilpakistan #goodvibes
