Spinach Blueberry Salad with Feta


This delicious superfood salad is one for the books. Packed with ingredients like spinach, blueberries, feta and almonds it can’t get healthier than this. Made with just 6 ingredients and a super simple dressing you wont compromise on health and flavor. This is a perfect addition to your holiday dinner table, bridal showers and high tea events.


If you are not a big fan of feta cheese, you may substitute it with goat cheese. I find that the creaminess of goat cheese compliments this salad equally. There are other options like ricotta or halloumi but my favorites are feta and goat cheese.


If you are not a fan of almonds, candied pecans, toasted walnuts or toasted cashews are great substitutes as well. I personally really enjoy the mild nutty flavor of roasted almonds.


I love berries in general, you can substitute or add any other berry of choice. I love sliced strawberries with spinach and fresh raspberries are also great. I wouldn’t personally add blackberries though.


If you are looking to turn this salad into a complete meal you can add a choice of protein such as farro or cooked quinoa to keep it balanced or a grilled steak of blackened salmon would kick this salad up a notch for sure. Grilled chicken or steak wouldn’t hurt either for those who love meat.


I honestly don’t think the dressing can get any simpler or better. The balsamic glaze along with olive add the right amount of sweetness and acidity to this salad. Otherwise a simple vinaigrette or poppy seeds dressing are also great options.

Prep time



Delicious spinach, blueberry salad with feta cheese and slivered almonds and dried cranberries.


  • 1 cup baby spinach

  • 1/2 cup blueberries

  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds

  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries

  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze

  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  • In a bowl combine all the ingredients.
  • Before serving drizzle with balsamic glaze and olive oil.
  • Enjoy!
